Job summary

Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations. You will coordinate production schedules, supervise staff, maintain quality standards, and drive efficiency in a safety-focused environment.

The role requires leadership experience, knowledge of production processes, and the ability to interface with maintenance and supply chain teams to maximize uptime and productivity.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work orders, and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to meet schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate workflow, staffing assignments, and production priorities to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor production performance and adjust resources to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Lead, coach, and develop production employees with training, performance feedback, and support.
• Foster a safe, collaborative, and accountable work environment focused on continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and PPE usage; address safety concerns promptly.
• Monitor product quality throughout production and ensure finished products meet standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, equipment utilization, and workflow efficiency.
• Monitor material usage, scrap, and production losses; support cost-control initiatives.
• Coordinate with warehouse and procurement to ensure availability of materials and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized production area and communicate updates to leadership.
