Job summary

Mission Critical Group is seeking a Production Lead to guide a team of Production Technicians and oversee assembly on multiple projects at our STM1 site. The Lead will mentor levels 1–4 and coordinate with the Electrical Assembly Manager to ensure deadlines and quality are met.

The role requires hands-on work with control panels, wiring, and metalwork, plus strong leadership and blueprint interpretation skills. Schedule includes 6am–4:30pm shifts, with some travel possibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 4-5 years in mechanical assembly/mechanical repair or associated field.
• Background knowledge of electrical system wiring (DC & AC) 1 + 3 phase, control systems and PLC experience, electrical manufacturing (highly desirable)
• Prior leadership experience highly desirable.
• Proficiency using hand tools and hand power tools, ruler, scale, tape measure, calipers (required)
• Proficiency reading and understanding blueprints (required)
• Demonstrated experience in panel assembly and wiring (required)
• Ability to work under pressure/severe time constraints.
• Satisfactory completion of additional background screening.
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and train Production Technicians 1–4 in SOPs and safety policies.
• Coordinate a team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Oversee productivity and provide coaching as needed.
• Perform primary assembly duties including panel assembly and wiring.
• Read and interpret blueprints to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain safe, organized work environment and comply with safety policies.
• Support Electrical Assembly Manager during absences or overtime scheduling.
• Open and secure production facility as needed and ensure security at site closure.
