Job summary

Dover Corp in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a dedicated Production Lead to oversee manufacturing activities and assist in achieving performance targets. The role involves honing teamwork and communication skills while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a technical education, with a minimum of 2-3 years of manufacturing experience. This position is onsite during the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday.

Lead and develop production related activities. Lead production team in meeting and exceeding daily/weekly Quality, Cost, Safety and Morale measurements. Perform other duties as per request of supervisors within agreed job competences.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and lead manufacturing requirements for each production cell per daily management instructions and fill-in as required.
  • Facilitate communication between shifts and coordinate with other departments and functions.
  • Propose improvements to management by leading CI activities.
  • Conduct job instructions training and standard work audits.
  • Recommend job instructions changes to management.
  • Assist in the development of the cell organization towards "Lean" including a clean and well-organized work environment.
  • Ensure good utilization of company equipment and report equipment issues to Maintenance.
  • Support production planning and expedite daily orders as required.
  • Ensure all safety/environmental requirements, emergency procedures and other company policies are followed.
  • Responsible for KPI's of the cell- Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and CI.
  • Filling DMB (Daily Metric Boards) reports and DMB board during shift and after shift.
  • Drive Operator productivity in the cell. Shift the labor to another department if no work is available in the cell.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.
  • Act as the first point of contact for safety concerns on the floor.
  • Monitor team activities to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Assist in training new employees in safety procedures.
  • Always encourage and model safe behavior.
  • Communicate safety updates and changes to the team.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
  • Commercial and/or Technical Education or experience in similar position.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' work experience in manufacturing.
Skills and Competencies
  • Exposure in an ISO certified manufacturing environment.
  • Good team work spirit and excellent communication skills.
  • Good command of written and oral English language.
  • Ability to self-motivate and possess independent problem solving.

Work Arrangement : Onsite

2nd shift - Monday through Friday 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
