Job summary

SWEP, part of Dover Corporation, seeks a production operator to manufacture brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHE) onsite in Tulsa. You will follow SOPs, read engineering drawings, and work to meet quality and delivery goals.

Experience in manufacturing is preferred; candidates must stay safety-conscious, precise, and cooperative in a fast-paced environment with 5S discipline and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Perform production activities of BPHE per job function and production processes.
  • Follow work orders, SOPs, and drawings to ensure high quality output.
  • Consult qualified personnel when issues arise with orders or drawings.
  • Complete assigned production tasks on time to meet goals and customer delivery.
  • Report quality uncertainties or non-conforming materials.
  • Assist in continuous improvement activities related to production.
  • Participate in audits as required.
  • Maintain organized work area and 5S practices.

To carry out any and/or all activities and functions that have been assigned to operator, related to the manufacturing/production processes in accordance to the standards and specifications requirement.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible to perform production activities of BPHE according to job function or production processes of assembly, brazing and testing.
  • Responsible to perform production activities strictly following the work order, standard operation procedure (SOP) and engineering drawings to ensure high quality production which adheres to customer expectation on the product.
  • Obtain advice from qualified person when encountering a problem or unsure about a work order, SOP, drawing of product when performing the job.
  • Responsible to complete the assigned production activities on time to meet the production goals and customers' delivery requirement.
  • Report any quality uncertainties or materials that fail to meet quality requirements throughout the production process
  • Assist and participate in continuous improvement activities related to production.
  • Participate in audits as required
  • Responsible for maintaining organization of work area consists of cleaning, storing of all materials and production equipment which includes 5S activities.
  • Follow all safety rules, procedures, and instructions.
  • Use PPE and safety equipment as required.
  • Report unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices to supervisors immediately.
  • Participate in safety training and drills.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to minimize hazards.
