Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate production activities to ensure materials, documents, and processes comply with company practices and procedures.
• Provide work direction and monitor performance of all operators in the department.
• Assist the Supervisor with daily production issues, including staffing, materials, and equipment.
• Support product flow and organization on the production line.
• Enforce quality, compliance, and company policies.
• Maintain understanding of department goals related to Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety.
• Identify and resolve roadblocks to meet performance goals.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, warehouse staff, and other support personnel to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Participate in performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Maintain knowledge of manufacturing processes and ensure data integrity for records.
• Update and maintain production metrics.
• Address performance issues and represent the department in meetings in the absence of a Supervisor.
• Use resources efficiently and keep work area organized.
• Perform roles such as Assembler, Trainer, and Material Handler as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of clean room procedures.
• Minimum of 6+ years manufacturing experience, preferably in Medical Device Assembly.
• Experience in team leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to do small part assembly using microscopes or automated equipment.
