Job summary

Job description

JPI is a real‑estate developer and builder focused on creating multifamily communities and improving lives through responsible, accountable, and integrity‑driven practices.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily construction operations and coordinate subcontractors, staff, and resources while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Maintain site safety adherence to the JPI safety manual, manage safety incident reporting, and enforce specific safety plans.
  • Manage daily log reports accuracy, including photos, manpower, descriptions, and weather delays, and produce real‑time data capture with drone deploy, OpenSpace, Argyle, etc.
  • Lead onsite trade‑specific pre‑construction meetings and manage subcontractors within the designated area of responsibility per OPC.
  • Conduct daily huddles, schedule status reviews, and daily activity checklist completion.
  • Develop and enforce RFI drafts, subcontractor manpower alignment, and other duties to support daily completion of activities.
  • Escalate subcontractor non‑performance per SOP and request temporary labor through the ticketing system with proper documentation.
  • Ensure site presentation adheres to the staging plan for AOR and maintain in‑line quality and schedule adherence.
  • Represent and advocate JPI’s culture and guiding principles, maintain a zero‑defect mentality, and uphold safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain the OPC schedule, collaborate closely with the Taktical Control Lead for daily schedule reporting and bi‑weekly schedule snapshots, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Enter labor counts, record deliveries, visitors, and inspections, and report daily weather impacts in logs.
  • Review and distribute daily logs to validate accuracy by 4:00p.m. and assist the Technical Project Lead in developing alternative construction plans.
  • Oversee and manage the daily on‑site construction schedule, collaborate with the Milestone‑Validation Lead, coordinate with city inspectors and fire marshals, and accompany inspectors during site visits.
  • Attend all AHJ and third‑party inspectors for AOR, document requirements, and coordinate inspections seamlessly.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a business or professional setting, including non‑profit or government roles.
  • Proven experience in an executive support role or a similar position.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in using business software and tools, including MS Office and project‑management applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Physical Requirements
  • Five (5) days a week, Monday–Friday, requiring physical co‑location on a construction site.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple job sites as needed.
