Job summary

viaPhoton is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor in Naperville, IL to lead a production team, assign tasks, train staff, and maintain quality. You will monitor schedules, perform spot checks, and ensure safe, efficient operation across shifts.

You will use Odoo scheduling to align work with customer demand and uphold production records, while mentoring teams to meet quality standards and safety policies.

Schedule: Mon-Fri | 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 1:00 AM

Compensation: $19-$24 per hour, plus a $2,000 prepaid card for medical expenses (prorated based on start date)

About the Role

You'll lead a production team and shape how we work every day. You'll assign tasks, train new people, run quality checks, and keep schedules on track. This is a hands-on leadership role where you directly shape both product quality and team success.

• Oversee and assign production employees to specific work areas, making sure they have what they need to succeed
• Train new and returning employees and document their progress and skill development
• Conduct quality spot checks with proper documentation and flag any issues immediately
• Make sure your team is handling products correctly and keeping their workspace safe and clean
• Step into supervisor responsibilities when needed and maintain accurate production records
• Use Odoo and ERP scheduling to keep production aligned with customer demand

What You’ll Bring
