VTG Defense, based between Manassas, VA and Washington, DC, seeks a Production Lead to oversee the end-to-end production lifecycle of the AN/BYG-1 submarine combat control system. You will coordinate software-based builds, baselines, and integration/test activities with engineering and Navy customers.
The role demands deep systems engineering expertise, 15+ years in defense software production, and adherence to DoD standards, CM/CI processes, and lifecycle sustainment.
We are seeking a highly experienced Production Lead to support the delivery and sustainment of the AN/BYG-1 submarine combat control system - an open-architecture system that integrates tactical control, weapons management, and information assurance for U.S. Navy submarine platforms. The Production Lead will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, configuration-controlled software systems that meet mission-critical operational requirements. This role will work on a team to integrate and test all subsystems and components of the AN/BYG-1 product associated with integration and test of TCS, PCS, IA, VMS, and CIS, interfaces, PM and SWFTS engagement.
This role is based between Manassas, VA or Washington, DC.

This position is contingent upon contract award.
Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $90,000-$125,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
