A day in the life…
As the Lead of the MoldingDepartment, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of the chocolate production process from start to finish. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold the exceptional quality standards our customers know and love, ensuring each piece of candy produced meets these high expectations. In this leadership role, you will inspire, train, and support team members, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and excellence. You will guide your department to consistently meet production goals while adhering to our quality standards. Additionally, you will utilize our SAP management system to maintain accurate records, ensuring smooth operations throughout all stages of production


What will you be doing?

  • Directing, monitoring, assisting and training employees assigned to a specific area, line or team per Supervisor’s instructions.
  • Communicating with and delegating tasks to team members.
  • Operating machinery, equipment, and tools in a safe and proficient manner according to standards, guidelines and instructions.
  • Maintaining records.
  • Delivering, inspecting and performing all activities required of other members of the area, line or team.
  • Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines to ensure product quality and uphold food safety standards.
  • Learning to Identify and address potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non-conformities, while maintaining proactive communication with supervisors.
  • Documenting food safety and quality procedures, maintaining detailed records of monitoring, verification, and corrective actions.

(Basic Qualifications)

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and understand tapes, scales and thermometers.
  • Ability to read and understand product specifications and recognize deviations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend, and lift overhead.
  • Ability to stand on hard surfaces for the duration of shift.

  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Working knowledge of SAP & Microsoft Office Products.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and objectives.
