Job summary

Blount Fine Foods Corp. in McKinney, TX is seeking a dedicated full-time team member to handle, label and package finished products on the 1st shift (6 AM - 2:30 PM, Mon-Fri). Weekend work may be required based on business needs.

This entry-level role requires adherence to GMPs, SOPs, and allergen controls. The position includes comprehensive benefits with health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and education assistance.

• Must adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures.
• Responsible for reporting suspicious packages, activities and individuals.

• 100% adherence to all company GMP’s and SOP’s; run, adjust, breakdown and reassemble appropriate job specific processing/packaging equipment.
• Update Lead or Supervisor on hindrances to perform position.
• Immediately notify supervisor of any issues/failures in position.

The pay range for this opportunity is $15.00-15.38/hour.

SHIFT 1st 6AM - 230PM Mon -Fri.

Please note that weekends may be required based on business needs. This is a full-time position

Handling, labeling and packaging of finished product

Responsibilities for Food Safety

• Responsible for completing required paperwork accurately and honestly as applicable.
• Must adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and all Food Safety policies.
• Must adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures as applicable.
• Responsible for reporting suspicious packages, activities and individuals.
• If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s).

Positional accountabilities

• 100% adherence to all company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures); no deviations.
• Ability through training and appropriate time in the position; to run, adjust, breakdown and reassemble appropriate job specific processing/packaging equipment.
• Update Lead or Supervisor on any hindrances to successfully performing your position.
• Immediately notify your supervisor of any recognized issues/failures while performing your position.
