Responsibilities

  • Oversees work at various stations along the production lines processing poultry food products.
  • Monitors employee well-being and coordinates bathroom break schedules for department.
  • Adheres to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management-related matters.
  • Ensures that product quality meets customer specifications, QA, and USDA requirements.
  • Adheres to and supports all company policies and regulations.
  • Enforces all supported food safety and foreign material prevention programs.
  • Ensures that all equipment throughout the departments is running smoothly.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
  • Maintain proper documentation on required paperwork.

Job description

Requirements
  • Good attendance (Less than 4 Points).
  • High School or equivalent not required but beneficial.
  • Must be willing to learn all jobs in assigned area.
  • Must have good basic math skills.
  • Able to work without very much supervision.
  • NO disciplinary write-ups in the last 6 months.
  • Ability to work with and lead a diverse group of employees.
Physical Requirements

  • Work in areas with wet and moist floors, including metal and plastic grating surfaces.
  • May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
  • May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 lb to 110 lb.
  • May be exposed to chemicals used in poultry and food processing facilities.
  • Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
