Job summary

Case Farms is seeking a Quality Control associate to perform unbiased product quality testing in the assigned area and maintain accurate records. You will help ensure product safety and sanitary conditions in processing areas while following GMP guidelines.

The role requires prior QC experience, strong communication, and the ability to work well in a team. Flexibility to extended shifts and self-motivation are assets for success at Case Farms.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GMPs is required.
• Experience in quality control is required.
• Effective communication with all levels is necessary.

• Good attendance history (4 points or less).
• Willing to be cross-trained and learn all tasks.
• Able to perform basic mathematics.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Able to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
• May work extended shifts.

Job description

• Perform unbiased product quality testing in assigned area.

• Ensure product safety and sanitary conditions are always maintained in the processing areas.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Knowledge of GMP’s.
• Prior experience in Quality Control.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within our company.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Have a good attendance history – 4 points or less.
• Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
• Be willing to be cross-trained and learn all tasks in the department.
• Have the ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Know how to effectively manage time to complete all assigned tasks.
• Extended shifts may be required.

Physical Requirements

• May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
• May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
• May be exposed to chemicals used in the processing facility.
• Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the position as directed by Case Farms.
• Able to stand or freely move for duration of shift.
• When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
• May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
• Ability to climb steps and to access and egress through production environment.
• Ability to work with tools, like scissors, knives and/or power tools for the duration of the shift.
