Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a supervisor to oversee hatchery production, egg intake, and workforce management in Fort Payne, Alabama. You will hire/train staff, monitor safety and bio-security, and ensure the production of healthy chicks for broiler grow-out.

The role requires two years of supervisory experience in processing/manufacturing, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Degree preferred; full-time, 8-hour shifts, with comprehensive benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in a processing or manufacturing environment.
• Must have knowledge of hatchery of baby chicks.
• Previous supervisory experience a must.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recognize and advise when unsafe conditions are observed.
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Education: Degree preferred
