GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Salary Range

$25-$27 per hour, based on experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with co-workers to strip, set-up, and pour the bed efficiently.
  • Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure optimal quality.
  • Follow directions from Team Leader and Supervisor.
  • Perform work flexibly across areas such as Production, Yard, and Patching.
  • Maintain safety and good housekeeping.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Understand quality programs and perform quality work.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work hours necessary to meet job requirements.
  • Be aware of daily tasks and next steps without supervision.
  • Foster professional relationships with employees in plant and office.
  • Support company policies and maintain a positive work attitude.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read tape measures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Knowledge of company products and suitable alternatives.
  • Adaptability to changes aimed at becoming Best in Class.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl, and use hands/forearms frequently.
  • Able to work up to 12 hours per day.
  • Work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts at various heights.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Moderate to high risk of exposure to elements and safety hazards.
  • Environmental conditions include wet, hot, humid, and wintery weather (plant-specific).
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round (plant-specific).
