Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow work instructions to clean and maintain equipment
• Cut and install wood block outs
• Set up equipment for casting bands and finishes
• Properly place concrete on the bed according to piece drawings
• Lay out the bed with correct dimensions from drawings
• Configure the bed according to specs, including form side reveals and steel/plates
• Wash exposed aggregate panels and beds
• Properly place finished products in the yard
• Grind panel ends and clean pallets
• Scrape and oil side forms, chamfer edges
• Set clamps and hook-ups correctly on panels
• Prioritize safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and efficiency
• Report any finish issues promptly
• Follow the “Fabcon Way”: continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to read tape measures, cast books, and blueprints
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Operate machinery safely
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Knowledge of concrete mixes
• Mathematical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

• Move a minimum of 50 lbs., awareness of depth perception, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, using hand tools forcefully, vocal projection
• Work in all weather conditions, including dust, noise, vibrations, and varying light levels
• Navigate stairs and narrow walkways
