Job description

At HIGH FORMAT, a division of Manthei Construction, our team members take what nature gives us and mold it into landscaping products that are usable, lasting, and aesthetically pleasing. From retaining walls to pavers, our landscaping products are cast in molds made from real weathered stone. Catering to a growing industry of architectural landscape products, we thrive around developing new ideas, products, systems, and technologies, along with analyzing and improving on existing ones. This shift is from 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM, Monday - Friday. Occasional overtime and Saturday work may be required depending on the production and overall company business needs.

The Position

In this Production Laborer position, you will be operating machinery and performing tasks in a manufacturing setting in order to safely craft concrete products. These products serve to transform the landscape of residential and commercial properties all over the world, and you will have a hand in making that happen.

The work environment is fast-paced and over time a high level of expertise can be developed along with the ability to spot and correct errors. Ideal candidates will have a strong sense of safety and the ability to perform all tasks in a safe, proficient manner, while understanding the importance of delivering a high-quality, finished product.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prep empty molds for filling
• Operate controls on concrete pouring machinery to fill molds
• Remove excess concrete from molds for a clean finish
• Inspect for quality-related issues as it relates to the molds and forms
• Ensure products are being filled to the proper heights and cleaned thoroughly
• Clean all equipment and machines
• Learn and perform other production-related duties as needed

Requirements: Ability to be on your feet for long periods and lift objects in excess of 50 lbs.
