Job description

Role Overview:

This is a seasonal position, allowing you to utilize your winters off for travel, hunting, fishing, or other personal activities while benefits continue year-round.

This role involves safely moving freight, stock, and materials by hand or heavy equipment, driving vehicles, operating machinery, and assisting workers to ensure safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include performing or scheduling repairs and preventive maintenance, sometimes at elevated platforms with heavy tools, loading and unloading railcars or trucks, inspecting incoming materials, verifying receipts, maintaining records, and ensuring safety compliance. You will also keep vehicles, machinery, and equipment clean and maintained, and recommend safety improvements. Compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, and other regulations is essential, along with attending training sessions. Travel is required, and other duties may be assigned as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to hold and maintain proper licensure and an acceptable driving record.
• Flexibility to work shifts including overtime, nights, and some Saturdays.
