Job summary

Perdue Foods in Rockingham, NC is seeking a Scanner for the 3rd shift to drive inventory accuracy and operational excellence in our production environment. You will support accurate inventory transactions and product movement to ensure customers receive the right products and orders are fulfilled seamlessly.

This role runs Sunday through Thursday, 10:00pm to 7:00am, requiring attention to detail, strong reading and math skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced poultry processing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading, communication, math, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately scan boxes or bins of finished product into the correct inventory location.
• Accurately scan raw materials and packaged materials in and out of the work-in-process location.
• Accurately scan finished product from coolers to the correct customer and transfer order.
• Maintain 3 or fewer occurrences.
• Comply with counseling and performance expectations associated with the scanning position.
