Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Production Assistant to perform general office and accounting tasks and to support SAP ERP entries. The role involves collaboration across shipping, loading, and production teams in a dynamic environment.

You will file and verify load packets, assist with inventories, and help keep the manufacturing area safe and organized while interacting with drivers and office staff. Strong MS Office skills and ERP familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read/write and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn ERP functions.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds; mobility to work in office and manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage all production-related entries in SAP (ERP), including deliveries, pick orders, cycle counts, and inventory transfers.
• Support shipping and receiving teams, including scanning packets to contracts.
• Create, check, and file load packets.
• Assist production teams to keep manufacturing areas safe, clean, and organized.
• Interact with drivers and office staff to build a positive team environment.
• Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel.
• Occasionally use hand/tools and power tools for tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
