Job summary

Twelve Inc. in Brooklyn seeks a Production Intern to support merchandising programs and client accounts.

You will maintain purchase order records, production trackers, supplier follow-ups, sample coordination, compliance docs, and logistics status from brief to delivery. Under the Production Manager, you will gain hands-on experience across critical path tracking, supplier communications, and documentation organization.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed degree in production, supply chain, operations, merchandising, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage details, documents, timelines, and follow-ups across multiple projects.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence asking questions and seeking clarification when needed.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when working with quantities, dates, costs, and documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with NetSuite, client portals, or project management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project trackers, account documents, purchase order records, meeting notes, and client-specific process documentation.
  • Gather updates from suppliers and internal teams to support clear, accurate client and internal status reports.
  • Track open actions and flag missing information, delays, or changes to the manager for guidance.
  • Assist with purchase order conversion and supplier handoff after requirements, pricing, and timelines have been reviewed and approved.
  • Follow up with suppliers and factories on production status, estimated completion dates, sample progress, and upcoming milestones.
  • Update critical path documents across sampling, approvals, production, QA/QC, compliance, shipping readiness, and invoicing.
  • Support pre-production sample coordination by tracking submissions, approvals, revisions, dispatch details, and follow-up actions.
  • Organize sample records, production photos, feedback, approvals, range boards, project folders, and other supporting documentation.
  • Help confirm files are complete, accurate, and easy for the team to reference throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Summary

Twelve is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Production Intern to gain hands‑on experience supporting the operational delivery of merchandising programs and key client accounts. Working closely with the Production Manager and cross-functional partners, the intern will assist with purchase order records, production trackers, supplier follow‑up, sample coordination, compliance documentation, logistics support, and status updates from brief through delivery. This internship is ideal for someone eager to understand how creative product ideas move through production and become finished, client‑ready programs.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Account Support
  • Maintain project trackers, account documents, purchase order records, meeting notes, and client‑specific process documentation.
  • Gather updates from suppliers and internal teams to support clear, accurate client and internal status reports.

Production & Critical Path Support

What You Will Learn
  • How merchandising programs move from creative brief through sourcing, production, quality review, logistics, and delivery.
  • How production teams use critical paths, purchase orders, samples, and compliance documents to manage risk and keep work on schedule.
  • How to communicate effectively with suppliers, factories, and cross‑functional partners in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in production, supply chain, operations, merchandising, business, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage details, documents, timelines, and follow-ups across multiple projects.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence asking questions and seeking clarification when needed.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when working with quantities, dates, costs, and documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with NetSuite, client portals, or project management tools is a plus.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and a genuine interest in production, supply chain, merchandising, or client operations.
  • Pay: $22/ hour
  • This role is based in our Brooklyn office, for 6 months with the potential to extend. 3-4 days per week, with Tuesday being a mandatory day
