Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience; manufacturing preferred
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement tools; Six Sigma is a plus
• Strong communication, documentation, organization and analytical skills
• Ability to train others on improvement concepts
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive results
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Understand production systems and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Manager in planning production activities and serve as a first line manager to Production Leads
• Provide coverage for the Production Manager role
• Support training, motivation and safety of High Performance Work Team members
• Investigate, propose, and implement improvements to Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Supply Chain
• Develop standard work instructions, desk procedures, and training to sustain improvements
• Support PACCAR Production System with lean leadership, 5S, Kaizen events and process audits
• Effectively support other functions as directed by the Production Manager
• Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift
