Job summary

Kenworth Truck Company in Renton, WA is seeking a Process Improvement professional to drive safety, quality, production and material improvements at the plant. You will identify defects and implement sustainable changes through data analysis and coordination.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, 4+ years in manufacturing, and mastery of continuous improvement methods. You will lead lean initiatives, mentor teams, and ensure standard work is developed and followed, with 1st or 2nd shift

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools; Six Sigma a plus.
• Strong communication, documentation, organization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to train others on improvement concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Manager in planning production activities and lead Production Leads.
• Provide coverage for the Production Manager role.
• Support training, motivation and safety of High Performance teams.
• Investigate and implement process improvements to Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Supply Chain.
• Develop standard work instructions and training to sustain improvements.
• Support PACCAR Production System through lean leadership, 5S, Kaizen, audits.
• Collaborate with other functions as directed; work 1st or 2nd shift.
