Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Production Test Engineer to own the hardware aspects of in-circuit testing systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Sterling Heights, MI. You will receive comprehensive training and support to ensure success in this critical production role.

Ideal candidates will have circuit-analysis skills, schematic reading ability, and familiarity with VB.NET, CAD tools, Python or LabVIEW for automation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in circuit analysis and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read datasheet parameters and schematics.
• Experience with preventative maintenance schedules.
• Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Proficiency in VB.NET for test scripting and automation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technician for ICT hardware setup, integration and maintenance.
• Support development of customer fixtures and adapters for production needs.
• Debug and optimize test parameters for high-throughput production.
• Troubleshoot test programs and hardware failures with diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with software engineers and manufacturing teams for system performance.
• Document configuration, procedures and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Manage hardware inventory and spare parts for uninterrupted production.
