Job summary

Lippert Components is seeking a Production Test Engineer to own the hardware aspects of in-circuit test systems, supporting production-intent testers in demanding manufacturing environments. No prior ICT platform experience is required as comprehensive training is provided.

The role emphasizes reliability, collaboration with software and manufacturing teams, and ongoing equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure suite performance across high-volume production lines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in circuit analysis and diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).
• Strong understanding of datasheet parameters for electrical components.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical documents.
• Familiarity with developing and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards for high-volume production.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technician for ICT hardware setup and initial design, integration, and maintenance.
• Support the development of customer fixtures and adapters tailored to production needs.
• Debug and optimize test parameters of electrical components to meet high-throughput production requirements.
• Troubleshoot test programs and hardware-related failures, leveraging advanced diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with software engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless systems performance.
• Document configuration, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Manage hardware inventory and spare components for uninterrupted productions.
