Job summary

JBS Prepared Foods in Council Bluffs, IA is hiring for 2nd shift production. Wages start at $20.60 per hour with comprehensive benefits and a shift differential of $1.00 for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Weekly pay, paid vacation after 60 days, and full benefits after 60 days are offered. Employees have access to free community college for themselves and dependents, with options to participate in a broad benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in refrigerated environment (10°F–40°F).
• Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Overtime and multiple shifts when needed.

• Manufacture product consistent with product specifications for the assigned work area.
• Complete mandatory safety training as outlined for the job assignment.
• Complete mandatory food safety/GMP training as outlined for the job assignment.
• Assist with product reconditioning as needed and directed.

• Ability to work multiple shiftswhen needed
• Ability to work overtime as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred

Experience / Work History

• Prefer previous manufacturing experience
