Job summary

JBS Prepared Foods in Council Bluffs, IA on 2nd shift is hiring for a production role. Wages start at $20.60 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential and comprehensive benefits after 60 days.

10 days of paid vacation after 60 days, full benefits, and tuition assistance through Free Community College for employees and dependents. Key duties include manufacturing to specifications, completing safety and GMP training, and supporting product reconditioning as directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
• Prefer previous manufacturing experience

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F.
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Work in a fast paced environment, with repetitive motion work
• Ability to work multiple shiftswhen needed
• Ability to work overtime as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
