Job summary

JBS USA is offering a 2nd shift production position at our Prepared Foods facility in Council Bluffs, IA. Wages start at $20.60 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift. Weekly pay and full benefits after 60 days, plus free community college for employees and dependents.

Work environment includes refrigerated temps and opportunities for overtime. Key responsibilities include manufacturing to specs, completing safety and GMP training, and assisting with product reconditioning as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prefer previous manufacturing experience.
• Completion of mandatory safety training is required.
• Experience with GMP or food safety training is a plus.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F.
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Work in a fast paced environment, with repetitive motion work
• Ability to work multiple shifts when needed
• Ability to work overtime as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred

Experience / Work History

• Prefer previous manufacturing experience
