Aerotek is hiring for a Production Helper in Reading, PA. This contract-to-hire role supports our manufacturing operations, focusing on safe handling of bags, material verification, and quality inspection.

You will follow GMP and PPE rules while keeping a clean, organized work area and assisting with other duties as needed. The position offers a pay range of $18.00-$22.00 per hour with weekly pay and benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience in a heavy industrial setting.
• Familiarity with documentation on quality forms.
• Good work history.
• Machine operation and general production skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bag-slicing equipment and associated material-handling equipment.
• Verify materials and quantities against production schedules.
• Inspect materials for damage, contamination, or quality concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Dispose of empty bags and waste materials properly.
• Report equipment issues and safety concerns.
• Complete production documentation.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and PPE requirements.
• Assist with other production duties as assigned.
