Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking aProduction Operator to assist machine operators and helpers in running production equipment. The role includes setup, operation, cleanup, and suggesting improvements to efficiency and safety.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and up to 6 months of manufacturing experience; a Lift Truck Operator License may be required. The position offers full benefits and opportunities to cross-train across machines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Candidates with 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• May require a current Lift Truck Operator License.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines at available capacity and speed.
• Train and assist First and Second Helpers with machine duties.
• Cross-train on other machines as needed.
• Complete reports such as Production Data, Status, Safety, and Quality data.
• Submit maintenance work orders and support equipment upkeep.
• Switch duties with First Helper when required.
• Follow policies, safety rules, and maintain housekeeping.
• Suggest production schedule improvements to meet goals.
