Job summary

KMC Stampings, a premier metal fabricator in Port Washington, WI, is seeking a Production Helper to support operators, handle parts, assist with setup, and help with packaging. You will rotate through the facility to learn processes and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing.

This entry-level role emphasizes willingness to learn, basic arithmetic, reading instructions, and teamwork. We offer training opportunities and a strong benefits package to help you grow within a 4-day work week

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3 months related experience and/or training.
• Prefer 3 months of prior manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Move parts through manufacturing operations and assist with setup tasks.
• Clean parts in spotweld area as instructed.
• Load and unload parts on the conveyor wash line.
• Assist with packing: boxes, banding, and packaging equipment.
• May perform visual inspection using work instructions.
• Perform general clean-up per 5S standards.
• Handle inspection gauges, scrap chutes, and packaging materials.
• Move materials with a pallet jack as needed.
• Adhere to safety rules and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
