Job summary

Whirlwind Steel Buildings and Components is seeking a Production Helper in Houston to support daily manufacturing activities. You will assist with material handling, measurements, and following work instructions with a focus on quality and safety.

The role involves standing for long periods and occasional overtime based on workload. Join a hands-on team where you will learn different parts of the production process, gain crane-related experience, and contribute to timely builds of metal

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and ability to use/read measurements.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfortable working on your feet and in an active manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and work with different equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist production team in turning raw materials into component parts.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, starting at 6:0 AM; end time varies based on workload, typically between 4:30 - 6:0 PM. Occasional weekends may be required based on business needs.
