Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and operation of machinery and equipment, including power tools and hand tools, to support assembly and manufacturing tasks
• Handle materials manually and operate forklifts safely to move raw materials and finished products within the facility
• Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and quality standards
• Measure components using various instruments to verify specifications and ensure precision in production processes
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives by adhering to lean manufacturing principles and safety protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following safety standards in production environments and managing manual handling tasks effectively
• Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, ensuring timely completion of production schedules while managing heavy lifting requirements

Skills

• Proven experience operating forklifts safely within a factory or manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments accurately
• Hands‑on experience with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques
• Familiarity with manufacturing management systems and understanding of production documentation interpretation
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting, while adhering to safety standards in production settings
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and process improvement strategies
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and understanding technical instructions
