Job summary

Charter Casting in Shawano is hiring a Grinding Operator on 1st shift or 3rd shift (10-hour days, Monday to Thursday) with overtime opportunities. Pay ranges from $23 to $25.25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and growth potential.

You will grind iron castings, operate grinders and robotics, and keep accurate data records. We offer full-time hours, weekly pay, bonuses including sign-on and quarterly performance bonuses, and tuition reimbursement within a safety-focused, team-driven

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of experience in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60lbs.
• HS diploma or GED program available

Responsibilities

• Grind iron castings to specifications.
• Use power tools such as robots, hand grinders, stationary grinders and pencil grinders.
• Perform wheel changes.
• Record data & complete paperwork.
• Prior machine shop experience is a plus.
• 1st shift 4am-2pm, 3rd shift 6pm to 4am.

• 1 year prior experience working in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field
