Job summary

Charter Manufacturing is seeking a Grinding Operator – Production in Shawano. 1st shift or 3rd shift (10-hour days, Mon–Thu) with overtime; starting wage is $23 per hour.

Responsibilities include grinding iron castings to specification, using robots and grinders, and recording data. Requires 1 year in manufacturing and a high school diploma; GED supported. Benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year prior experience in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field.
• High School Diploma ( GED works program available).
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60 lbs.
• Basic math and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Grind iron castings to specifications.
• Operate power tools such as robots, hand grinders, stationary grinders and pencil grinders.
• Perform wheel changes.
• Record data & complete paperwork.
• Prior machine shop experience is a plus.

Grinding Operator – Production (Shawano)

1st shift or 3rd shift (10-hour days, Monday to Thursday) – $23/hr

• Grind iron castings to specifications
• Use power tools such as robots, hand grinders, stationary grinders and pencil grinders
• Perform wheel changes

• 1st shift 4am-2pm, 3rd shift 6pm to 4 am. OVERTIME available!

What You Bring

• 1 year prior experience working in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field

• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60lbs
