Job summary

Spherion State College in Mifflintown, PA is seeking a Production General Laborer for the 2nd shift in a powder coating production environment. Immediate start with 40 hours per week, full-time, temp to hire.

Pay rate is $20.00 USD per hour, with occasional overtime and benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Responsibilities include loading/unloading parts on the coating line, surface prep like blasting, masking areas for coating, and maintaining a safe, clean work area

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• 6 months experience in powder coating/production environment preferred.

• Blast parts to remove rust or other matter that may prevent the finishing from being successful
• Mask threaded holes or other areas that we do not want powder to be applied

Job Description:

This is a job-shop powder coating company that has several lines and other support departments. Our clients primary business is to work with other businesses to powder coat their product and get it back to them meeting their expectations for quality in the coating and how the parts are packaged. It is a production environment.

• Load parts onto the coating line
• Unload parts from the coating line
• Blast parts to remove rust or other matter that may prevent the finishing from being successful

• Move material around
