Job summary

NTN Bearing Corporation in Elgin, IL is seeking a General Labor-Production worker to support automated assembly lines, perform line loading, repacking, visual inspection and sorting of parts. You will operate pallet jacks, transfer materials, supply components to conveyors, load parts to machines and inspect finished parts.

Overtime and a steady fast-paced environment are expected. Starting wage is $17.00 per hour with second shift differential of $2.50 and third shift differential of $3.00 per

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak English well enough to pass safety training.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers.
• Ability to follow instructions and concentrate on tasks.
• Physical ability to move objects safely with proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company rules related to safety and environment.
• Safely operate pallet jacks to move materials.
• Supply components to hoppers, indexing poles, or conveyors.
• Load parts from baskets to machine conveyors.
• Remove finished parts, inspect as needed and pack properly.
• Visually inspect components, sort and disassemble defects.
• Perform cleaning and 5S tasks.
