Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist Slitter Operator in setting up and operating the slitting machine to cut steel coils to specified dimensions.
• Monitor the slitting process to ensure quality and adjust as needed.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of slitting equipment for safety and performance.
• Transport steel coils and finished products using approved equipment and practices.
• Keep work area clean and compliant with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with team to troubleshoot operational issues during slitting.
• Assist in inventory tracking and reporting discrepancies.
