SMS Mill Services, LLC in Burns Harbor, IN seeks a highly skilled Production Foreman for our 24/7 site located at Cleveland Cliffs Steel Mill. This 12-hour rotating shifts role requires strong leadership, safety focus and hands-on management of shift operations.

Responsibilities include supervising a team, coordinating production flow, maintaining safety standards, and communicating with customers as needed. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in steel mill, scrap processing or related Mill Service / support business.
• Supervisory skills.
• Intermediate computer skills – Excel is a must.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic knowledge of quality control procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Sitting, standing, walking for extended periods.
• Tolerating noise and temperature variations.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• OSHA 10 or 30 General Industry preferred.

SMS in Burns Harbor, IN is seeking ahighly skilled and safety-focusedProduction Foreman for our site located on Cleveland Cliffs Steel Mill.This a 24/7 operation working 12-hour rotating shifts.
