Tuff Shed is recruiting for a Production Foreman to contribute to the success of our Factory Store in Little Rock. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on the Company!

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A SUCCESSFUL PRODUCTION FOREMAN?

1. Coordinate and schedule all fabrication assignments.
2. Ensure work is properly assigned and completed according to Tuff Shed's quality, productivity, and safety standards.
3. Partner with the supervisor and Shop Specialist to review production schedules, product deficiencies, labor performance, and other needs.
4. Ensure that only company-certified employees operate forklifts and other tools/equipment.
5. Enforce PPE policies and ensure compliance.
6. Implement and maintain Tuff Shed's housekeeping standards.
7. Maintain tools and equipment in safe and good working condition.
8. Lead daily production team meetings.

PACK Accuracy & Labor

1. Ensure PACK certified employees inspect every building.
2. Ensure products are properly stacked and ready for loading or assembly.
3. Collaborate with the Shop Specialist to ensure products meet Tuff Shed specifications.
4. Identify root causes of deficiencies.
5. Work with management to understand labor targets.
6. Assign and reassign workers as needed.
7. Communicate results to the Prefab team.
8. Identify staffing needs and communicate performance issues to management.

Material Handling

1. Oversee handling and storage of materials.
2. Manage unused materials, restock, and minimize waste.
3. Monitor inventory levels.
4. Ensure proper receipt, storage, and documentation of deliveries.
5. Participate in monthly cycle counts.
6. Inspect raw and finished goods.

Supervisory Responsibilities

1. Ensure team members are trained and certified.
2. Provide work direction.
3. Inspect work and address deficiencies.
4. Assist with resolving work-related problems.
5. Promote a positive work culture.
6. Participate in hiring and disciplinary processes.

Skills & Experience

1. Experience as a tradesperson or supervisor.
2. Knowledge of construction practices and safety.
3. Ability to use construction tools safely.
4. Ability to read technical drawings and plans.
5. Understanding of work optimization.
6. Ability to work under pressure calmly and strategically.
7. Problem-solving skills.
8. Attention to detail and high quality standards.
9. Effective communication and training skills.
10. Mathematical proficiency relevant to business needs.
11. Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in various formats.

Education

High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience preferred.
