Job summary

Komline is seeking a Production Control Specialist to coordinate and control manufacturing activities at our Gordonsville, TN on-site facility. You will align plans, materials, and labor priorities to ensure on-time delivery and efficient production flow.

Responsibilities include maintaining work orders, managing BOMs, monitoring WIP, and collaborating with planning, purchasing, engineering, and shipping teams to optimize operations and data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
3+ years in production control, planning, scheduling, or inventory control.
Experience reading BOMs and engineering drawings preferred.
Strong understanding of scheduling, inventory control, and manufacturing operations.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Excel.
Ability to identify bottlenecks and develop solutions to improve flow.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage production schedules to meet delivery commitments.
Create and maintain work orders, travelers, and production documents.
Review BOMs and develop production travelers and sequences.
Verify material availability and coordinate with purchasing to resolve shortages.
Monitor WIP and provide visibility into status and priorities.
Release jobs based on material, labor, and sequencing needs.
Track production progress and assess build status and floor utilization.
Support inventory accuracy through ERP transactions and cycle counts.
Coordinate replenishment with relevant departments.
Collaborate across planning, purchasing, engineering, production, and shipping.
Maintain accurate ERP/MRP data and production completion reporting.
Promote adherence to quality, safety, and best practices.
