Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Mathematics, or related field is required and 1+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize remote virtual controls that manage vehicle flow throughout SIA.
• Rapidly respond to alarms and production changes and collaborate with other departments to control vehicle flow to minimize downtime or scrap.
• Plan and coordinate floor operations and daily production schedules, including weekends and shutdown activities.
• Maintain knowledge of production flow and travel times to recommend schedule changes and overtime to maximize efficiency.
• Understand data and vehicle flow to monitor and correct tracking data.
• Troubleshoot and repair floor devices (printers, scanners, data terminals) and replace tags.
• Assist Maintenance and IS Operations during troubleshooting and repair.
• Generate daily reports on production conditions and downtime for the Production Control team and SIA officials.
• Create tools (in Excel or other software) to analyze and support daily operations.
