Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, IE, ME, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Study impact of line speed changes on staffing, processes & quality control.
• Analyze process efficiency and implement continuous improvement and headcount reduction kaizen.
• Evaluate powertrain components for ease of installation and final quality.
• Identify cost reduction and improvement ideas for powertrain components.
• Coordinate part investigation trials to assess changes impact on the assembly line.
• Support model development to evaluate process challenges and installation concerns.
• Document test results using cameras, spreadsheets, documents, or other tools.
• Analyze bulk material costs and waste.
• Analyze downtime information for high frequency processes and propose kaizens for OPR improvement.
• Review process-related safety concerns for counter-measure potential.
• Assist in staffing coordination and other duties as assigned.
