Job summary

NOV is seeking a Manufacturing Expeditor to connect raw material inventories with early production. You will coordinate parts to work centers, maintain schedule integrity, and assist multiple departments by moving materials across the facility.

You will ensure accurate part numbers and quantities, keep records, and communicate any delays to supervisors. A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement will be expected daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or technical coursework.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing or production support role.
• Ability to obtain Forklift and Overhead Crane certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, part numbers, and work orders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift 50 lb regularly.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a health screening.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in manufacturing.
• Willingness to work overtime or shift changes.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and deliver materials from Prep/Pre‑Fab area to work centers on schedule.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and quality before dispatch.
• Maintain records of material movements using the inventory system.
• Communicate delays or discrepancies to supervisors and departments.
• Coordinate with warehouse and receiving teams to prioritize inbound shipments.
• Assist in staging and organizing materials for upcoming shifts.
• Support other departments by moving parts and equipment as needed.
• Perform routine inspections of transport equipment for safety and function.
• Participate in continuous improvement to streamline material flow.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental policies.
