Wabash is seeking a Production Floor Trainer to support onboarding and development of production team members on the shop floor. You will teach standard work, safety expectations, and quality requirements.
You will partner with coordinators, supervisors, safety and engineering to identify training needs, document competencies, and promote a positive learning environment. You will also assist with daily production tasks when not training.
The Production Floor Trainer is responsible for supporting the onboarding, training, and development of production team members on the shop floor. This role helps ensure employees understand standard work, safety expectations, quality requirements, and proper production processes. The trainer will work closely with production leadership, coordinators, and team members to build job knowledge, improve consistency, and support a positive learning environment. When not actively training employees, the Production Floor Trainer will be expected to work on the production floor and support daily production needs as assigned.
