Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2+ years of relevant experience or six years Smithfield manufacturing experience.
• Experience in manufacturing operations preferred.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to guide others.

Responsibilities

• Train new-hire and job-bid employees on essential job skills, safety practices, and knife handling on the production floor.
• Document training attendance, daily observations, and employee progress with accuracy.
• Collaborate with area supervisors, attend M-IQ tier meetings, and support onboarding with plant tours.
• Rotate shifts and travel to other facilities to assist with start-up projects.
