Job summary

OPW, part of Dover Corporation, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in Elon, North Carolina to lead the production floor.

You will supervise 30+ team members, drive lean initiatives, ensure ISO 9001/IATF 16949 compliance, and balance safety, quality, and productivity.

Candidates should have 3+ years manufacturing supervisory experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with AS400 or similar systems; Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years' supervisory experience.
• Experience with lean continuous improvement tools and methodology.
• Proficient at Problem Solving Techniques (5-why, 8D, A3).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiar with AS400, Shop Floor Plus or other production systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct the activities of the production floor to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Inspect product to verify product standards and specifications are met.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce material and labor costs.
• Perform daily safety GEMBA and ensure ISO 9001/IATF 16949 compliance.
