Job summary

White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC. seeks a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily shift operations on the production floor in Smyrna, TN.

You will work with machine operators and staff to ensure a safe, efficient environment and will secure the facility at shift end. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in the field, plus 2+ years of supervisory experience, with strong knowledge of safety protocols (OSHA) and CNC familiarity.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas.
• Generally 7+ years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise machine operators and production staff to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations on the production floor.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching or corrective action as needed to maintain high standards.
• Coordinate shift changeovers and ensure accurate communication with 1st and 3rd shift leadership.
• Perform regular floor checks to verify that equipment is functioning properly and operators are following standard procedures.
• Assist in training new employees and cross-training current staff as needed.
• Respond to equipment malfunctions or safety issues and elevate appropriately.
• Complete shift reports and ensure accurate documentation of production data.
• Lock and secure the facility at the end of the shift, including verifying all doors are locked, lights and machinery are turned off, and the building is safe and secure.
• Serve as the point of contact for any off-hours issues or emergencies that arise during the shift.
