Job summary

Brady Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor in Louisville, KY to lead the production floor, coordinate schedules, and drive ISO-compliant operations. You will monitor quality, safety, and team performance while partnering with other specialists to meet delivery goals.

Applicants should have an associates degree or 5 years of supervisory manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with SAP, MS Office, and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5 years of equivalent supervisory experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment including 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google suite preferred.
• SAP experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Inventory Management such as: Cycle Count, Material Movement Transactions and Delivery Routes

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the supervision and coordination of activities of the plant, including schedules to support efficient production operations
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters staffing to meet unforeseen conditions
• Responsible for producing quality materials by following ISO practices, eliminate non-value added activity and is held accountable for compliance to specification and conformance to policies and procedures
• Partners with other Production Specalists to ensure status of assigned projects, resolve problems affecting production schedules, effective utilization of resources, inventory assets and capital equipment resources
• Plans workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times
• Responsible for achieving key performance indicators
• Collaborates with the other team members to understand the critical needs of the internal and external customers. Assumes major responsibility for SQDCC (safety, quality, delivery, cost and cash)
