Job summary

Cirrus is seeking a Senior Manager of Production Flight Test in the United States to lead the end-to-end flight test program for production aircraft. You will set strategic direction, define KPIs, and drive improvements across engineering, manufacturing, and operations.

You will mentor flight test managers, pilots, and staff, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with regulations while aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years in flight testing or related leadership roles.
• Knowledge of flight test regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a strategic vision for the production flight test organization.
• Define KPIs and targets for flight-testing operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and capabilities.
• Provide leadership to flight test managers, pilots, technicians, and staff.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, QA, flight operations, and other teams.
• Ensure flight test plans comply with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification agencies.
• Oversee planning, execution, and evaluation of flight test programs.
• Communicate updates to executives and stakeholders.
