OandG Studio is seeking a full-time Production Finisher and Assembler in the Lighting and Hardware Department. Our ideal candidate is organized, motivated, capable, and interested in working to a high standard in a production environment. Must be willing to learn, follow systems, and work closely with others on a wide variety of tasks. Prior metal finishing and basic fabrication experience are preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This role offers an opportunity to learn metal finishing techniques, metal fabrication, post-finish accent assembly, UL standards, and lean manufacturing techniques.

Daily tasks include polishing, tumbling, and bead blasting brass hardware components, assembling finished pieces, and packing for shipment. Additional responsibilities include wiring light fixtures, assembling wooden lamps and small furnishings, accepting orders, maintaining inventory, and tracking order progress.

Responsibilities

• Accepting production orders
• Pulling parts for orders
• Polishing, setting up media tumbler, and operating media blaster for hardware production orders
• Assembling finished hardware
• Wiring and assembling lamps and wall sconces
• Packing orders for shipment
• Maintaining inventory counts and submitting purchasing requests
